Search Engine Optimization
Search Enginge Optimization is incredibly important and a lot of work!
Once you have chosen you keywords and key phrases you must put them into the body of your page in a very specific manner.
Here are just a few of the ways to increase your chances of reaching a good ranking.
* The key phrase must be in the title, preferably at the start of the sentence * The key phrase should be in the first sentence of the body of your page and repeated about 8 times throughout the page. More than this number, you will be classified as a spammer and might not be ranked very highly. * The key phrase should be in bold somewhere on your page. * You should use the H1 and H2 tag with the key phrase in it. * You should have at least 400 words on your page. * You should use the key phrase in outbound links
Just following these simple guidelines will help your page rise to the top of the food chain!
Have you ever wondered why some web pages get such high search engine rankings?
Here are the 10 rules I use to search engine optimize a page for keywords and description meta tags.
First, you should write your page which should be between 500 and 750 words. A person who can read 10 words a second will read your page in 50 seconds. The average reader can read somewhere around 6 words per second. So if you write too many words the reader will get bored and leave without reading the entire message you have to tell. If your article is really good most people will read all the way through it. If not they are off to the next web site in a flash.
